It makes our life easier by providing us with efficient mechanisms of communication, problem solving, task management, creation - a virtual extension of our human capabilities. As such it has become an increasingly important asset to be able to use and manage. The computer and its corresponding digital technology makes not only us more efficient in what we do, but also enables us to be more efficient, careful, and responsible with the resources around us. On the other hand, nature with all its resources has existed before mankind, and is also the base of our existence.
